FAMILY AND FRIENDS - U PICK APPLES AT THE APPLE FARM

The season for u pick runs October 15 - 21, 2006. As this is a working orchard, make sure you dress for a farm visit, with protective clothing if it is raining, and sturdy footwear. There is a minimum charge of $4.00 per person to go out in the orchard with a staff member for a minimum of 10 people. (This includes children). Please call ahead to book your U-Pick event. Please check as sometimes the apples are not ready for U-Pick. This will help us to combine small groups together so that we may offer the U-pick to smaller families.
A minimum of 5 pounds of apples must be picked by the group, but there is no maximum. Our staff member will indicate the rows to pick, and show you how to pick. The rest is up to you We ask that you have fun and pick your own fresh fruit from the trees!
We ask that you please respect the orchard by staying in the area that has been designated and by not littering. After you have finished picking, your guide will bring your apples back to the barn to be weighed.
The price of your freshly hand_picked apples will be 60 to 80 cents a pound.
The most important thing to remember is that you should enjoy your time out in the orchard, and bring home memories of the farm.
Have fun at the farm!! Cheers !!!
